Opportunity:

RN - Endoscopy GI

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• No self-scheduling; block scheduling in place
• No required weeknight or holiday call
• Weekend call is voluntary and not required
• Call response time of 30 minutes required
• Work in a 3-suite Endoscopy/GI Lab unit
• Patient ratios of 1:1 intraoperative and 1:3-4 pre/post procedure
• Perform all endoscopy-related skills including pre, intra, and post-procedure care
• Common cases include EGD and colonoscopy procedures
• Experience with Endoscopic Ultrasounds and bronchoscopies is a plus but not mandatory
• Endoscopy experience is required
• Knowledge of vital signs, cardiac monitoring, and Epic EMR system required
• Work alongside techs and nursing assistants
• No floating requirements
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Charting system: Epic
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS Certification, Montefiore Nyack Hospital NDNQI Certification
• BSN not required
• Unit-specific orientation provided
