ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends with 4 shifts per schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• 32-bed Emergency Department
• EMR system: Meditech
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC (must have by start date), ENPC (must have by start date), NIHSS
• Greater than 2 years of experience preferred
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs and navy blue zip-up sweater required; pull-over sweatshirts are not acceptable
• Typical procedures include lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Ideal candidate is a great team player who anticipates the needs of patients and the department
