About this role

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. You'll work day shifts at CHRISTUS STV Admin Services Building, providing outpatient physical therapy services to a diverse patient population.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • No weekend or on-call requirements
  • Duration: 91 days, starting September 14, 2026
  • Weekly pay: $2,508

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess physical and cognitive abilities of inpatients and outpatients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families
  • Provide assessment, treatment plan development, implementation, follow-up, and discharge planning
  • Document initial evaluations, daily and weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and clinical notations
  • Participate in patient care conferences, family conferences, in-service programs, and departmental meetings
  • Counsel patients, families, and involved individuals regarding evaluation, care, and treatment
  • Initiate and complete timely discharge planning with effective patient and family education
  • Assist with coordination and supervision of Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student programs
  • Support orientation of new team members and patient scheduling to ensure quality coverage
  • Contribute to Performance Improvement activities and maintain productivity standards
  • Maintain awareness of community resources for appropriate patient referrals
  • Demonstrate proficiency with all physical therapy modalities and equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or entry-level Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited institution
  • Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure
  • BLS certification from AHA
  • Professional dress code: khaki pants and white polo
