ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required with no on-call requirement
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Float to ICU required on occasion
• Provide direct care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Address physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs of patients and their families
• Manage care of assigned patients and direct activities of ancillary staff
• Care for all patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Respond to traumas, strokes, STEMIs, and basic medical emergencies
• Minimum 2-3 years of ER experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Valid California state nursing license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be AHA or ARC certified)
• 2 references obtained within the last year required
