Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with 3 days per week scheduled
• 36 estimated hours per week
• Manage and provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members
• Formulate daily goals and plans of care for patients, considering individual needs in a holistic manner
• Demonstrate critical thinking in the identification of clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual issues for patient care
• Participate actively in department or unit-specific quality improvement efforts
• Utilize research and evidence-based practice to support improvement in clinical care
• Serve as a highly engaged and full partner on the care team, responding willingly to care team member needs for assistance and partnership
• Provide detailed and appropriate teaching to patients and families to effectively guide them through episodes of care and transitions
• Maintain productive working relationships internally and externally by demonstrating accountability, enthusiasm, motivation, and commitment
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• RN required; BSN preferred
• Required certifications and licenses: Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73
