Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shift schedule with every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Holiday rotation includes: Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
• May float to similar units and facilities based on census needs
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Work on a 22-bed Med Surg unit with patient ratios up to 1:6
• Must be able to read telemetry and have experience with cardiac drips and identifying heart rhythms
• Must be willing to work in the charge role with additional training provided on the unit
• Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg experience required; short-term acute care hospital experience required
• At least one completed travel contract preferred
• Recent Epic charting experience within the past 12 months required
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, Wisconsin RN license
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
