ED RN Job in Boerne, TX

Methodist Boerne Emergency Center is seeking an RN for a 13-week contract position in the Emergency Department. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM), with a guaranteed 36 hours weekly and rotating weekend requirements of 4 weekend shifts per schedule.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, performing urgent care procedures, stroke and STEMI response protocols, and pediatric emergency care. You must be willing to float per Methodist's floating policy and work collaboratively with the emergency team.

Requirements

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of emergency room experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred

Compensation and Schedule

This position offers $1,708.20 weekly with no on-call requirements. Holidays are observed per unit policy. The assignment begins August 25, 2026, and runs for 91 days.

Dress Code and Appearance Standards

You will wear navy scrub tops and pants with a navy or white scrub jacket. Nails must be clean and healthy. Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed. Body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.
