ED Registered Nurse Job in Wichita Falls, TX

United Regional is seeking a Registered Nurse for its 62-room Emergency Department in Wichita Falls, Texas. You will work a 3x12 day schedule on a 36/48 hour alternating block with 84 hours biweekly guaranteed. This role requires weekend coverage and involves managing a 4:1 patient ratio across all shifts.

You will care for neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a high-volume department with an average daily census of 190. Your clinical responsibilities include:

• Arterial line and central line management
• Blood product administration and phlebotomy
• Care of ventilated patients and management of continuous sedation and paralytics
• Interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias
• IV vasopressor administration
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition
• Triage, IV initiation and maintenance, and multisystem organ dysfunction management

Required qualifications:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 3 years of emergency nursing experience (travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic charting system proficiency
• Trauma Level II experience preferred

You will work within a collaborative emergency medicine environment serving a diverse patient population across all age groups.

Assignment details: 91-day contract beginning September 21, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,206.
