ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 mid/evening shifts in the Emergency Room
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday and Saturday nights)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment to be considered
• Experience in General Emergency Department - Combined Adult/Pedi required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• LTAC experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, CPI (preferred), TNCC (preferred)
• Scrubs not provided - Royal Blue color required
• Must be comfortable caring for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Key skills required include interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, blood product administration, triage, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and phlebotomy
