ED RN Job in Rochester, NY

You will provide family-centered emergency care to pediatric patients under the age of 19 in a Level 2 pediatric emergency setting at URMC Golisano Children's Hospital. This is a fast-paced role in a trauma and burn center environment where you'll care for patients ranging from treat-and-release cases to acute critical care and trauma situations.

Role Details

• Work 4x12 rotating shifts covering day, evening, and night schedules
• Weekend, holiday, on-call, callback, and charge shifts as needed per unit requirements
• 48 hours per week strongly preferred
• Care for patients across 18 general care beds, 1 critical care bed, 4 urgent care beds, and a shared 7-bed trauma bay

Requirements

• Current New York RN license
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric ED experience
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Burn care experience is highly desirable

Preferred Certifications

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses)
• ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support)

This assignment runs for 89 days, starting December 7, 2026. You'll earn $2,767 weekly as an RN with ADEX Healthcare Staffing, working in a dynamic pediatric emergency department that prioritizes high-quality, evidence-based family-centered care.
