Med Surg RN Job in Danville, PA

You will serve as a float pool RN covering multiple units within Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. This position offers you the opportunity to develop broad clinical skills across different patient populations while maintaining schedule predictability.

Schedule and Hours

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a float pool RN, you will move between multiple units based on facility needs. You will provide direct patient care, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Your experience with BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy will be essential to this role.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania nursing license (required before start date)
• RN degree
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with BiPAP and high-flow oxygen therapy
