Med Surg RN Job in Fayetteville, GA

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical Surgical Float unit. This is a 126-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work nights on a 3x12 schedule at $1,792 per week.

Role Overview

You will float within the facility according to your scope of practice, supporting patients in ER Hold and short-stay settings. Your patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You will maintain a 5:1 patient ratio on both day and night shifts and work every other weekend with no on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact nursing license required)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers are accepted
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Community hospital experience preferred
• LTAC experience preferred

Assignment Terms

You may request up to 7 days of time off per contract, and all requested time off must be finalized at time of submission. No schedule changes can be requested after the offer is accepted or while on-site. If one or two major holidays fall within your assignment period, you are expected to work all of them. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, you are expected to work two of them.
