RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours - can be low censused in hour increments as needed, typically in 4-hour increments
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Work on Medical and Pediatrics (MAP) unit treating adult patients with conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days and 1:6-7 on nights
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, and able to manage change well
• Ability to work independently, complete tasks timely, and collaborate with team and ancillary staff
• Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes throughout a shift required
