PCU RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) role at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour day shifts
• Weekly pay: $2,582.10
• Location: 6644 E Baywood Ave, Mesa, AZ
• May float between PCU and Med-Surg units across two facility locations
• Potential on-call requirements

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal findings to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Develop individualized plans of care with multidisciplinary team collaboration, including discharge planning
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and healthcare personnel
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching; revise plans as needed
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluations accurately and timely in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership initiatives and contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators
• May supervise departmental staff and workflow in certain capacities

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months
• BLS certification
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and meet physical demands of direct patient care

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification
