PCU RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Mercy Hospital South in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an RN for a 112-day travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a 3x12 schedule, earning $2,272 weekly.

Role Details:

• 32-bed Cardiac Med Intermediate unit with patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4
• Care for post-op CABG/valve, thoracotomies, respiratory failure, and chest pain patients
• Work with chest tubes, temporary pacemakers, and BiPAP equipment
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• No call requirements; every other weekend hours required
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient cardiac stepdown experience
• BLS and ACLS from AHA (required)
• NIHSS certification (preferred)

Assignment Details:

• Start date: October 14, 2026
• Duration: 112 days
• Night shift orients on day shift; you must be available the entire week for orientation
• RTO of 5 days or less must be made up at the assignment end
• Only 1 holiday RTO request permitted per assignment

Dress Code:

• All black scrubs with facility logo on top required
• Unacceptable attire: hoodies, jackets without facility logo, t-shirts, open-toed shoes, earbuds, and fake nails
