ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Job Details:

• Liver Care ICU position requiring liver transplant experience
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient ratio of 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required with every other weekend or equivalent schedule
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• BSN preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Virginia or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal
• 2 references required
• Candidates may float within scope if needed
• Natural nail policy in effect
• Required skills include: arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, CVVHD/CRRT, ventilator management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, IV insulin protocols, management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, post-op liver transplant recovery and care, and CRRT (NxStage) equipment operation
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
