PCU RN Job in Lonetree, CO

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge CO is hiring a travel RN for a 91-day assignment on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three days per week, earning $1,953 weekly.

Role Overview

You'll join the 5th Floor Medical/PCU unit in the main hospital building, where the night shift team includes one charge nurse, 9–10 RNs, and 4–5 MSTs. Patient ratios remain consistent at 4–5 patients per nurse on both day and night shifts, allowing you to deliver focused care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cardiac drips and cardiac catheter care
• Perform chest tube management and wound care
• Administer TPN and lipid infusions
• Monitor patients using cardiac monitoring equipment and Dynamap technology
• Operate mechanical lifts and iMobile equipment
• Coordinate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team on patient outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac and ICU experience
• Prior Meditech EMR experience
