PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour weekend day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
• Holidays scheduled as required
• Cancellation policy of 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Resource Pool position covering ALL MedSurg/Stepdown/Telemetry units
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 for Stepdown and 1:6 for MedSurg/Telemetry
• Each unit has up to 34 beds
• Must be well-rounded and strong in Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology
• Epic experience required; Level 1 Trauma experience and travel experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Charting system: Epic
• Acute care setting
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Units covered include MedSurg, Stepdown, Telemetry, Trauma & General Surgery, Ortho/Neuro, Epilepsy Monitoring, Long Term Antibiotic Infusion, Neuro Stepdown, Surgical Oncology, and Medical Oncology
