PCU RN Job in Sun City, AZ

Banner Boswell Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit in Sun City, Arizona. You will care for post-surgical patients in a dynamic acute care setting, with the option to float between the Boswell and Del Webb campuses as needed.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on the Progressive Care Unit, assessing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care aligned with each patient's medical requirements
• Delegate and supervise healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, adjusting the plan as needed
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluations accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives
• Support the education, orientation, and mentoring of new personnel
• Lift up to 75 pounds regularly and use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required
• Specialty area experience within the past 12 months required
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Duration: 89 weeks
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,541
