Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 8, 10, or 12-hour day shifts with varied start times; mid shifts begin at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM, standard shifts begin at 6:30 AM
• Call required with 1-2 weeknights per week and weekend call approximately once per month from end of shift Friday through 6:30 AM Monday
• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required with holidays covered by call
• First to float when applicable
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Acute care setting
• Scrub attire provided by the facility
• Orientation consists of 1 shift with a preceptor
• Work in CVOR environment with common cases including CABG, valve procedures, pacemakers, lead extractions, and lung cases
• EMR system: Cerner SurgiNet
• Report to Clinical Supervisor; OR Director and OR Manager also on site
• OR Technicians on staff
• Respiratory therapy available 24/7
• Pharmacy available 24/7
• Required certifications: BLS Certification
