Emergency Room RN Job in Conroe, TX

Join HCA Houston Conroe as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning August 24, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, clinical environment with competitive compensation and a structured schedule.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
• Weekly pay: $1,661
• Every other weekend requirement

Facility Overview

You will work in a 30-bed Emergency Department with 8 additional hall beds. The department maintains a patient ratio of 1:4, allowing you to deliver quality care in a collaborative setting.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform NIH stroke assessments and cardiac monitoring
• Initiate and manage IV lines and blood draws
• Administer TNK and manage moderate sedation cases
• Operate and monitor equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP devices, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
• Document all patient care using the Meditech EMR system

Requirements

• Current RN license (valid in Texas)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
• Preferred certification: ENPC
• Royal blue scrubs required
