Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required (13 weekend shifts per contract)
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6 depending on census
• Float required between Progress West and St. Peters locations as needed
• Float within service line as required, including to MS and ICU (non-ICU level/lower acuity patients aligned with skill level)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Step down or PCU experience required
• Neuro/stroke care background required
• Experience with post cardiac cath patients required
• Comfortable caring for adults and geriatric patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include CHF, CVA, and COPD
• Perform and support post thrombectomy care (after 24 hours), post cath care, and stroke care
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required skills include: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care/management, CVA management, heparin protocols, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drip management and titration, pre/post cardiac cath care, pre/post cardiac surgery, pre/post hemodialysis management, pre/post neurosurgery, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, and use of rapid response/code teams
