PCU RN Job in Gilbert, Arizona

You'll provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit at Banner Gateway Medical Center, located at 1900 N Higley Rd in Gilbert, Arizona. This is a nursing role where your clinical judgment and patient advocacy are central to the work.

What you'll do:

• Assess patients across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental dimensions, planning individualized care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Review patient histories, diagnostic results, and laboratory data, communicating abnormal findings to physicians and care team members
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions, documenting care accurately and timely in patient records
• Delegate and supervise licensed and non-licensed team members
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Mentor and precept staff to support professional growth
• Participate in shared leadership, education, and orientation activities

What you need:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona or compact RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Experience in acute care within the past 12 months in your specialty area
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred

Physical demands: You'll stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. You may lift up to 75 pounds and will use standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.

Assignment details: You'll work 3x12 night shifts over an 89-day assignment beginning November 2, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,559.
