PCU RN Job in Shawnee Mission, KS

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Stepdown at a facility in the Shawnee Mission area. This is a 90-day travel nursing assignment beginning September 21, 2026.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license
• National Certification required
• Current certifications as applicable to your practice

About This Role

As an RN on the PCU Stepdown, you will provide direct patient care to individuals transitioning from acute care toward discharge or general medical-surgical management. You will assess vital signs, administer medications, monitor cardiac telemetry, manage drains and catheters, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams. Night shift work requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
