ED RN Job in New Braunfels, TX

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital New Braunfels is seeking a full-time RN for the Emergency Department. You will work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This 91-day travel assignment begins July 20, 2026, and pays $1,971 weekly.

In this role, you will practice independently within the emergency department, providing routine and complex nursing care to diverse patient populations. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess patients using the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and all care provided
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers based on identified learning needs
• Delegate tasks to other care providers as needed to manage clinical situations effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• RN license valid in Texas or current compact license
