Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required, holidays as needed
• Float required between all campuses as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, no first-time travelers
• Acute Care Rehab experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratios of 1:6, with one unit rotating basis where a nurse may have 7 patients of equivalent acuity
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility
• Specialized care for qualified patients with rehabilitation needs including post-stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical, brain injury, and spinal cord injury
• Inpatient rehab department setting
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Required skills include interpretation of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, and EKG interpretation
• Responsibilities include interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, patient health questionnaire, vital signs monitoring, dressing changes, aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup, specimen collection, phlebotomy, telephone triage, and pharmacy calls
• Required certification: BLS
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services
