Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Join Barnes-Jewish Hospital Nursing as a Registered Nurse on our Telemetry unit in Saint Louis, Missouri. This is a 91-day travel assignment working 3x12 night shifts at $2,232 per week.

Role Overview

You will care for adult patients on our Telemetry/Step-Down unit with a patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts and weekends. Your responsibilities include cardiac telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, central line and PICC line care, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, heparin and IV insulin protocols, pacemaker management, and post-cardiac catheterization or surgery care. You will also manage wound care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry and step-down experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Relias EKG test required
• Must be located outside a 75-mile radius of Saint Louis

Assignment Details

Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) is required. You will float within the service line to meet facility needs. No on-call duties. Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract. Scrub color is navy blue. Start date is October 12, 2026.

Patient Population

You will work with patients presenting with congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndrome, heart valve disease, coronary artery disease, pulmonary hypertension, hypertensive crisis, and acute renal failure.
