PCU RN Job in Sun City West, AZ

Banner Del Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, Arizona is seeking an RN for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a 3x12 night shift position with an 89-week duration, starting November 30, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,559.

Role Overview

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical orders
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities to implement the plan of care
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise plan as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives
• Support education, role development, and orientation of personnel
• Precept and mentor staff to promote professional growth when appropriate
• Actively participate in improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona required
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• BLS certification required
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and bodily fluids
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred

You must be willing to float between two campuses. This position offers a varied work schedule.
