Interventional Radiology Technologist Job in Pittsburgh, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment at Southwest - UPMC St. Margaret in Pittsburgh, PA. You will work 5 days per week on day shift, with hours rotating between 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, and 6:30 AM–4:00 PM based on facility staffing needs. Call coverage is required Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and you will be on-call for 24 hours on weekends.

Your Responsibilities:

• Independently perform imaging procedures in interventional radiology and vascular settings
• Demonstrate proper patient positioning and radiographic techniques for all interventional procedures
• Administer contrast media according to assigned protocols under proceduralist direction
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures and uphold patient safety protocols, including time-out verification
• Identify patients using two identifiers and follow universal protocol for all procedures
• Document patient history in the electronic medical record and ensure proper coding, tracking, and archiving of all exams
• Support other departments with general radiographic procedures as needed

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 2 years of vascular and interventional radiology experience
• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or accredited invasive cardiovascular technology program
• Valid ARRT Certificate or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification
• Interventional Technologist Certification
• BLS, PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 certifications

Compensation and Benefits:

• Weekly pay: $3,761
