Telemetry RN Job in Springfield, MO

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking an RN for a 13-week telemetry position working 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). You will earn $2,102.40 per week with 36 or 48 guaranteed hours weekly, as indicated on your submission form.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for cardiac and med/surg patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Utilize the nursing process to care for patients post-trauma, post-surgical, and with medical comorbidities
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Float on a rotational basis within a 32-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:6–1:8 on nights

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience in an inpatient setting
• Current RN license; must meet criteria for Missouri licensure or be currently licensed in Missouri
• BLS from AHA only (required prior to start)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)
• 4 trauma credits (must be completed within first two weeks if not already obtained)
• Experience and competence in drug titration
• ACLS from AHA only (preferred)
• Trauma experience in an inpatient setting (preferred)

• No call requirements
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Night shift orients on day shift; must be available the entire orientation week
• RTO will not be approved in the first week and must be made up at assignment end
• Only 1 holiday RTO request permitted per assignment
