Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call required, specific to Ophthalmology call, up to 4-6 call shifts per 4-week schedule period
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Ophthalmology case experience required, including retinal detachments, vitrectomy, cataract removal, and eye trauma
• Neurology (spines/craniotomy), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Da Vinci Xi) experience highly preferred
• Common cases include ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), neuro (craniotomy, spine), ENT (flaps), robotics, transplants/procurements, trauma/burns, and GU/GYN
• Required certifications: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), BLS
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Charting system: EPIC
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
• Required skills include burns, craniotomy, Da Vinci robotics, spinal fusion, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, and trauma
