Med Surg RN Job in Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Aspirus Riverview Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical-Surgical unit in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week travel contract beginning November 2, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical (40-bed unit with average daily census of 28)
• Shift: 3x12 nights with every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours per week (except during unit closures)
• Patient Ratios: Maximum 7 patients per night shift
• Weekly Pay: $2,506

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and medication administration
• Manage patient documentation in EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and ancillary staff
• Work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Float to similar units (IMC) and potentially to Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior locations as needed
• Accept on-call placement for low census hours (counting toward 36-hour minimum; 2-hour minimum if called back)

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin or compact state RN license
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• AHA or ARC BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Associate Degree (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree (BSN)
• EPIC charting experience required
• IMC experience preferred

• Ability to manage independently and adapt to unit needs
