PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units is required
• Scrub color required: Navy Blue
• Treat adult patients ages 18 and older
• Work in a 64-bed unit with 15 designated Neuro beds
• Common diagnoses include Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-op patients
• Experience with specialty equipment required including temporary pacer, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo
• Work with chronic ventilator patients who are unable to wean, with Respiratory Therapy available to assist
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
